Are you a superstitious person? I always find this topic funny because
people have so many mixed views and opinions regarding this subject. I
am always amused when I speak to a religious fanatic.
These people can
be so adamant about the existence of God and heaven. They believe that
once a man dies his spirit is released from this physical realm and
progresses on to heaven. However, if you suddenly talk to them about
ghosts, they would look at you as if you're absurd.
I mean this totally makes no sense. They think that an earth-bound entity is completely ridiculous, but they find spirits, God and heaven totally acceptable and realistic. Give me a break! Talk about naive.
Well, I guess some people only believe what makes them feel comfortable. I just think that it's lame to say that you believe so strongly and then come off like a hypocrite. These people need to grow up. And then there's astrology readings and tarot cards. Do you believe in them?
Obviously, I have never been big into signs and fate. The whole astrology readings phenomenon throws me for a loop. You should think about this for a moment. Do you regularly check your personal astrology readings or horoscope?
The ones that go with your birth sign? You’ll find that it's more than a little vague, and it's very far-fetched. I think some people became very bored one day and so they decided to develop the horoscope.
Last week, I read my horoscope and it seemed to me that these astrology readings can be applied to everyone. I think it said something like "You have five toes, but your fingers are longer than them. You like to drink beer.
In fact it may be crucial to having fun. You will have to make a decision within the next few days." Isn’t that astute insight or what? Okay, so maybe it didn't read exactly like that, but it was pretty close.
Did you know that you could actually get astrology readings and horoscopes on the Internet? If you most likely have a PC or Mac, all you have to do is check an email account. You can look into cyberspace astrology readings for insight regarding the future and your character. Nowadays, ridiculous superstition stuff like the horoscope can also be found on the World-Wide-Web. |
