Things to Consider when Sending Baptism Invitations E-mail
One of the most exciting moments in a married couples’ life is having children. Parents always feel that nervous anticipation as they await the arrival of the next family member. I am also a parent and I consider having my children Baptized as one of the most rewarding experiences about having children.

Having your child christened or Baptized is a matter of personal choice. Much of it comes from your religious beliefs or those of your co-parent. There are a few things that you need to do in terms of planning if you want to have your child Baptized.

Planning on who you want to attend the baptism is usually the first step. The Baptism ceremony is usually is a small and elegant affair. You should include family members who you are close to when you are sending out baptism invitations. Of course, you also have to send Baptism invitations to the future Godparents of your child.

It stands to reason that you’ll be having the service in a church if you are already a member of a church. You should also include a small map with the Baptism invitations if not all of the guests are familiar with the location.

It would also be a good idea to ask that your guests RSVP to the Baptism invitations so that you can determine how many refreshments and Baptism favors you’ll need to supply for the celebration.

A reception is usually held after the actual service. This informal gathering gives the guests the opportunity to hold the baby and to get caught up with the parents. I invited the guests to a local restaurant during my children’s Baptisms. I noted this on the Baptism invitations so that the guests can save some room for a late brunch.

I also wanted to make sure that the guests would have something special to remember the day by. I finally decided on small plaques after I did some research to find a creative idea for Baptism favors. The plaques consisted of copies of the baptism invitations along with an image of the baby.

I printed them off on the computer on a very thick paper so they would be suitable for framing. I was glad that my plan turned out great. All of the guests commented on how wonderful it was to have something unique that will allow them to remember the baby’s Baptism.
